Car Accident
As a result of a car accident, client sustained serious injuries which required costly surgery. Client did not have health insurance to cover additional medical expenses beyond the no-fault provisions of her own policy. The client’s unpaid medical bills were approximately five times greater than the funds available from the liable person’s insurance policy. Through persuasive negotiations with medical providers, we were able to secure offers from the medical providers to substantially reduce or write-off the outstanding balances to enable payment of all medical bills and compensation to client.

What Is in a Last Will & Testament?
In addition to specifying how your assets are distributed, your will enables you to name a personal representative for your estate, designate guardians or conservators for your children, provide for your pets, offer direction on how taxes will be paid, and make specific gifts to family, friends, or charities.
Even if the majority of your assets are in a living trust, a will serves as a backup that can make your wishes clear to the probate court and your personal representative. However, a will is not a legal tool for reducing taxes and other benefits of a living trust. Our attorneys can advise you of the best way to protect your assets and maximize your beneficiaries’ inheritance.

“There was a lot of debt that needed to be sorted out, but they were both confident and positive that things would be straightforward, but were always prepared if things were to become more difficult. They made the process as painless and easy as possible, and were communicative and very patient with me and all of the worries I had. 10 out of 10, I can confidently say that I would happily work with them again if I ever need another divorce”- Margaret C.
