As a result of a car accident, client sustained serious injuries which required costly surgery. Client did not have health insurance to cover additional medical expenses beyond the no-fault provisions of her own policy. The client’s unpaid medical bills were approximately five times greater than the funds available from the liable person’s insurance policy. Through persuasive negotiations with medical providers, we were able to secure offers from the medical providers to substantially reduce or write-off the outstanding balances to enable payment of all medical bills and compensation to client.

What Is an Estate Plan?
An estate plan is a set of legal documents that specifies your end-of-life wishes and outlines how your property and personal affairs will be managed in the event of your death or incapacitation.
Vital Components of a Cohesive Estate Plan
A comprehensive estate plan includes various legal documents that serve distinct and important purposes.
Some vital elements include:
Will
A will outlines how your property and assets will be distributed after your death. It can also name guardians for minor children and designate a personal representative to administer your estate. We can help you draft a will that reflects your wishes while avoiding ambiguity that may lead to disputes or delays in probate.
Trust
A trust allows assets to be managed by a trustee for the benefit of designated beneficiaries during your lifetime or after death. A well-structured trust can help avoid probate and provide greater control over how and when assets are distributed. We help clients select trusts that align with their financial circumstances.
Power of Attorney
A power of attorney (POA) authorizes a trusted individual (“agent”) to handle financial and legal matters on your behalf if you become unable to do so yourself, such as managing bank accounts, paying bills, or filing taxes. We draft POAs that clearly define authority and reduce the risk of future confusion or disputes.
Advance Directive
An advance directive specifies your healthcare preferences and appoints someone to make medical decisions on your behalf if you become incapacitated, making it a critical tool for end-of-life care. We coordinate advance directives with other estate planning documents for consistency and alignment with your broader goals.
We believe the best results come from having the right people beside you from the very beginning. That means taking the time to understand your situation, staying connected throughout your case, and making sure you feel supported every step of the way.
